Digital Art
I’ve been experimenting with digital art since 1985. My first completed project was “The Mirror,” which is widely recognized as the VERY FIRST children’s book illustrated in color on a computer. The book was published by Harbinger House in 1987. The illustrations were created using an application named “PixelPaint,” long before the arrival of Adobe Photoshop. I used a mouse and a trackball as my drawing tools.
Since then, I have done many more digital works, eventually moving up to a Wacom tablet and then an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, which are my main tools today.
