Eyedeas
Mary Beth Cabana and Chieko Imada of Ballet Tucson originally suggested a sculptural work to be used in their 2018 Winter Concert. But when budget constraints made that look impossible, we switched to the idea of simply an 8' x 8' painting, and I created the following concept images.
Later, however, I suggested the possibility of doing something sculptural using only paper and cardboard and similar inexpensive materials. The project then grew to include two wing panels, each 4' x 8'. The result was an interesting and complex creation.
