GANs can augment. but not supplant creativity. AI almost always requires the hand of a skilled artist to turn randomness into Fine Art. Here is a GAN-created variation of one of my analog landscapes combined with a reworked piece taken from a GAN text-generated image. I used my education and experience and raw creative poser to turn two GAN-generated images into something new—something actually worth owning.. Show me a GAN that can create any one of these images on its own and I’ll eat my wallet!.
